Week 8 CFB Expert Predictions

Last weekend was the first sign of College Football 2018 Armageddon. Penn State and Auburn – losing at home to teams they easily should’ve beaten. Washington, West Virginia, Miami, and Georgia – falling on the road to teams they had talent advantages over. Four top-10 teams now on life support when it comes to the College Football Playoff. This Week’s Bold Prediction:

EC:
Ready for this one? Another top-10 team will go down this week…maybe it will be in one of the games we picked above. But in college football, especially this year, expect the unexpected. Watch out Michigan, Ohio State, LSU, and Clemson!

JB: Alabama faces it’s first adversity of the season, as suddenly upstart Tennessee keeps it close for the first quarter and a half, before the Tide pull away.

SD: Sun Devil wide receiver N’Keal Harry will win Pac-12 Offensive Player of the Week honors after putting together one of the best performances of his career in ASU’s upset win over Stanford.

SM: Penn State barely survives Indiana as they are caught looking ahead to three huge games in a row with three ranked teams ahead of them after this week.

RW: A few game predictions from Randy:

Michigan at Michigan State: Michigan State hasn’t had the kind of year they hoped for. Sparty always steps up his game for the rivals. It’s a home game so the atmosphere will be electric.  It should be a good one! State wins in a shocker, and Harbaugh will have to change his Dockers.

Oklahoma at TCU: This will prove to be a nail biter of a game.  The Oklahoma squad has shown has shown moments of brilliance, while the TCU frogs have not quite been the team they have shown to be in seasons past. It will come down to the final seconds in this game.

Stanford at ASU: Although the Devils are coming off a bye week, and they have played pretty well this season, this is a Thursday game against a great team with a stout offensive line and a really smart coach. The Cardinal are still working with Love’s injury, they still will hold the ASU offense in check
