5 Quick Thoughts on Week 13
1. Ridiculous stat of the week: In his last three games against the Lions, Mitchell Trubisky has thrown for three TDs in each game. How improbable and crazy is that? I’m betting he makes it four straight. As an aside, no wonder the Lions fired coach Matt Patricia…

2. Which team is more bi-polar, the Colts or the Vikings? Good luck picking each’s games on a weekly basis, especially against the spread. Talk about a roller coaster ride…

3. Might want to throw the Chargers into the bi-polar game as it seems like 75%+ of their games, when it comes to the spread of course, come down to the final play. (That’s an unofficial stat for those of you checking). I’m picking them this week but still not sure why?

4. I had a diehard Eagles fan friend of mine tell me the other day that he seriously wonders if Doug Pederson is trying to get himself fired based on some of his bizarre coaching moves of late. Hard to argue. The Carson Wentz era might need to be over sooner than later or the booing will be merciless in 2021 when fans are allowed back at Lincoln Financial Field.

5. The more I think about it, the more I’m liking the Bills this week as they take on the 49ers on Monday Night Football in Glendale’s State Farm Stadium. You think they want revenge from ‘The Hail Murray’ on the same field in November? May sound stupid…but I’m always looking for different angles, folks!

  1. there wasn’t a lot of time for me to look close at all the ATS picks this week. There are 2 picks that jumped out at me and are opposite my picks. I believe the Patriots will beat the chargers; and for a big upset, I think West Virginia will not only cover against Iowa St. but will also beat them. This will give all you experts a good laugh; I’m betting the #1 defense within the Big12 (I know not saying much) will prevail over the Iowa St. offense. Okay, you can stop laughing now.
